Before I moved to Barcelona, I would come here regularly on holiday, usually around twice a year. I would be eagerly awaiting my visits here, not only for the scorching sun and the delicious food… but to visit KIKO.

Before KIKO opened stores in Glasgow, the only way for me to shop there was when I visited Barcelona, where I would stock up! The Italian brand was founded in 1997 and since then, it has grown in popularity due to its affordability and quality.

On a recent trip to my local KIKO I picked up a few new additions for my make up bag, including this gorgeous Unlimited Stylo…

What KIKO say:

“Long-lasting creamy lipstick. Highly pigmented colour with a semi-matte finish meets long-wearing, cutting-edge ingredients. The result is long-lasting make-up. The formula contains monoi oil and passion fruit extract.

The lipstick clings to the lips, leaving a uniform coat of colour and a precisely outlined lip contour. The soft, creamy texture is highly blendable.

The easy-to-apply product feels wonderful. The colour is revealed instantly and is buildable.”

This is one of my favourite lipsticks at the moment! I chose 05 Scarlet Red, however despite the name it’s actually a gorgeous pinky/plum colour which is perfect for this time of year, it’s not too dark and autumnal but a little brighter. It’s gorgeously creamy and truly lasts for ages. I like to apply a layer, dab it with a tissue then add another layer, building up the colour.

The packaging is modern and sleek, with a swatch of the colour on the side and the classic KK symbol. The lippie is dermatologically tested and comes in 21 shades, which I am desperate to try out some more of!

Shop the Unlimited Stylo, £8.99/€8.95 in stores or online here.
