L’ORÉAL PARIS TRIPLE ACTIVE DAY MOISTURISER

Now that we are entering winter, the signs of dry, dull skin are starting to appear. From the heating being on full blast to the change in climate, our poor skin really suffers during this time of year. So, in a bid to keep my face hydrated, I have been on the lookout for moisturisers to test. I came across this one from L’Oréal and because it not only hydrates, but protects and leaves the skin radiant too, I thought I would give it a try. It was also an absolute bargain at £6.49!

WHAT L’ORÉAL SAY:
Every day the skin is exposed to multiple aggressions (UV rays, stress and pollution) which can result in premature skin ageing. The skin can become dull and its barrier function can become fragile, leaving it feeling dehydrated. The L’Oréal Paris laboratories created Triple Active to provide long lasting hydration to all skin types. Triple Active comes from the association of advanced active ingredients and luxurious textures to reveal more beautiful-looking skin. Immediately the skin is protected against daily stresses to help retain a more youthful appearance. It is intensely hydrated for a feeling of softness and comfort. Skin looks luminous with a healthy looking radiance.

The cream is suitable for normal and combination skin, so it was perfect for me. The texture is light and soft, not greasy at all, yet still feels rich and creamy.  The product features three actions, these are: hydration, protection and radiance.

Triple Active contains glycerin which helps the skin to retain water and stay hydrated, which is perfect for dry, wintery skin. The formula also protects the skin from UV rays, (which believe it or not are still harmful in winter!) with Vitamin E and UV filter, preventing skin ageing. In addition to this, ingredients also include Ceramide and Vitamin B5 which “helps reinforce the skin’s protective surface”, leaving it glowing and radiant.

This is a great day mousturiser and very reasonably priced at only £6.49. I purchased it for €6.50 in Spain (hence the packaging being in Spanish!). If you are looking for an affordable new face moisturiser, then this is a great option.
