MY SKINCARE ROUTINE

If there is one healthy habit I have started over the past few years and actually stuck to, it’s been adopting a new skincare routine. For years my skincare routine was a face wipe and a slick if moisturiser… it makes me shudder thinking about it!

One of my “New Year Goals” for 2018 was to take better care of my skin and implement a proper skincare routine. This has given be a perfect opportunity to try new products and see what works for my skin.

CAOLION HOT & COOL PORE PACK DUO

Korean skincare products have been on the market for a while now, and Caolion is a brand i’m a huge fan of. I’ve tried a few of their products in the past, one being the Sparkling Blackhead Soap, which I love. I am always having a nosy in Sephora at Caolion products and when I saw this I had to try it. Whenever I see a product that claims to reduce pores I am all over it! I decided to try the mini version to see how I found it.

With summer around the corner, it will soon be time to ditch the cardis and flash the flesh in summer dresses, cami’s and shorts! However, as I don’t tan naturally, and I don’t “embrace my naturally pale skin” like everyone likes to tell me to (I like being tanned!), the only option for me is to fake tan!

KIKO SMART HYDRASHOT CREAM

As a makeup fanatic, KIKO has been one of my favourite stores since I first discovered it in Barcelona many years ago. I have many memories of wanting to buy everything, trying to work out how much space I had in my case for baskets full of products! Now they have stores all over the UK and we don’t have to travel far for our KIKO fix! The brand is known for its high quality products at affordable prices.

MAYBELLINE TATTOO BROW

 

Anyone who knows me or follows my blog/Instagram, will know I have a long-running, serious eyebrow issue. The issue being – I HAVE NO BROWS. Well, I do but they ain’t pretty. It all started when I was a bushy-browed 15-year old and I went to the beauticians for an eyebrow wax and she SCALPED me. Like literally 90’s pencil thin brows. AAGH.
